There is no right or wrong
Funerals are heavily influenced by tradition and by how things have always been done. We believe that everyone can decide what suits them best. And that is exactly what we support. We are guides and help you make the right decisions for you. One assumption is often that many decisions must be made immediately, which can cause stress. We help you make the right decisions at the right time and give you the time you need to do so.
Deciding on a type of burial
Most know whether they want cremation or burial for the deceased person. With cremation, however, there are various options: Should there be a urn burial, one Tree burial or a Burial at sea become? In which cemetery, cemetery, funeral forest or in which sea should the urn be buried? We provide advice on these questions and take the pressure off. What many people don't know is that you can still choose the exact type of burial and location 1-2 weeks or later after death (depending on the federal state).
Silent farewell or farewell party?
Should there be a simple, silent farewell at the grave or a celebration with music, family speeches and a candle ritual? There is no right or wrong decision. We help you find what's right for you and arrange your loved one's farewell in a way that suits you. As with the type of burial, you do not have to make this decision immediately after death.
“We don't want our father to be refrigerated too long before cremation”
Sometimes the period from the date of death to cremation can range from a few days to a few weeks. This is primarily due to the fact that cremation in a crematorium in many federal states can only be carried out with a death certificate. If the period is too long for you, we can expedite the cremation by applying for a temporary death certificate (funeral permit). Another option is for the deceased person to be transferred to a federal state where cremation can be carried out earlier. We will advise you on the options and organise everything as you wish.
Farewell to an open coffin
Saying goodbye to the deceased person can help you cope with grief, especially if the loved one has suddenly passed away. Others would rather keep people in their heads as they remember. We'll help you make the right decision for you.
Organization of the farewell party
External funeral speaker or own speech, classical music or a song from the Lion King, candle ritual or orthodox priest? Or none of it, or all of it together? We will arrange the farewell party with you and for you and your loved one. Every farewell is individual, and so should the celebration.
